Jason Zellner grew up in southern California and earned a Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of California, Berkeley. After completing a post-baccalaureate sequence in psychology, captaining a forty-foot sailboat around the Aegean Greek islands, working at a five-star restaurant, bicycling from San Francisco to Los Angeles, and studying Italian in Italy, Jason earned a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007. While in Philadelphia earning this graduate degree, he worked at Neighborhood Bike Works, a non-profit bicycle shop that fosters youth development and teaches bicycle repair skills to local youth.
After cycling the Pacific Coast, Jason plans to combine his love of the outdoors with his applied degree in positive psychology to create and implement outdoor programs aimed at the pursuit of the good life. Additionally, he plans to provide one-on-one coaching for young adults in stages of life transition. He is devoted to helping individuals thrive and flourish in all domains of their lives. Having long dreamed of traveling through the Pacific Northwest, Jason is thrilled at this opportunity for adventure and grateful for each of those with whom he is sharing this journey, wherever they may be as he is pedaling down the road.
